Akasha Yoga Academy: Feminine Wisdom for Holistic Wellbeing

Course program

Feminine Wisdom for Holistic Wellbeing from Akasha Yoga Academy explores the intersection of Ayurveda, cyclical awareness, and yoga practices designed for the female body. The program offers a framework for understanding how natural rhythms shape energy, health, and daily life, and how practice can move with those rhythms rather than against them.

This course is designed for women who want to understand how their body’s natural cycles relate to their yoga practice, energy levels, and overall wellness. It also suits yoga teachers who want to bring cyclical awareness into their work with female students. No prior credentials or yoga experience are required.

– How to align with outer seasons and inner cycles (menstrual and lunar) using Ayurveda
– The relationship between cycles and energy, creativity, and wellbeing
– Sacred fertility and conscious creation from an Ayurvedic perspective
– Yoga practices tailored to the body’s inner seasons: Inner Winter (rest), Inner Spring (awakening), Inner Summer (strength), Inner Autumn (grounding)
– How to adapt yoga practice to support each phase rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach
– Exploration of sexual energy, confidence, and sacred sexuality
– Honoring sensuality through puberty, fertility, and menopause
– Science and physiology of sexual energy
– Cultivating confidence and joy through movement and breath
– Refining sexual energy with ancient breathing and embodiment practices
– The relationship between sexuality and spirituality

Three specialists lead the course. Astrid van Zon is a Certified Yoga Therapist (C-IAYT) and E-RYT 500 with over 1,500 hours of certified training, specializing in functional anatomy, Ayurveda, and cyclical awareness. Amanda Noga brings two decades of experience in yoga, Ayurveda, and women’s empowerment. Ashley Apple is a clinical herbalist, sexuality educator, and certified yoga teacher with over 20 years of experience in Tantra, Kashmir Shaivism, and functional medicine.

The course is delivered fully self-paced online with no live sessions. Students work through the three parts on their own schedule. Materials are pre-recorded and accessible at any time after enrollment.
