Breath School by The Breathing Teacher: Embodied Medicine

Course program

Embodied Medicine is a self-paced program from Breath School by The Breathing Teacher, led by breathwork coach Jadine Laniado. Rooted in educational neuroscience and feminine embodiment, it uses the body as a tool for healing through self-awareness, mindfulness, and self-regulation. The course invites women to inhabit the body fully and explore the relationship between physical being and energy.

This program is for women who feel disconnected, uncomfortable, or frustrated with their bodies, including those navigating body-image struggles or past trauma. It also suits women craving authentic connection and belonging, and anyone committed to holistic personal wellness across the physical and emotional dimensions. No prior experience is required, and the sister-circle format welcomes newcomers to embodiment practice.

The curriculum unfolds across eight recorded sessions. You begin with an introduction to embodied medicine, tension-release home practice, and grounding meditations such as the Safe Place and Wise Guide. From there you explore the liberating practices of dancing and shaking, then use your voice to release blockages through Honey Bee Breath and Om vocal toning. Later sessions work with the inner child, drawing on activities to heal emotional debt and simple awareness intentions.

A full breathwork section teaches Body Scan Breath, Breath of Fire, Soft Belly Breath, Box Breath, and circular breathing to transform energy in the body. You also practice mindful movement through restorative yoga, intuitive flow, and yin yoga, and close with integration calls and a closing ceremony. Throughout, embodiment strategies, storytelling, and community support anchor the experience.

The program is led by Jadine Laniado, a breathwork coach and the founder of Breath School by The Breathing Teacher. She is a Trauma-Informed CYT-200 with training in Educational Neuroscience and Mind-Body Medicine as an Advanced Facilitator. Drawing on her own recovery from burnout and disconnection, she creates inclusive, brave spaces where students learn to resource and regulate themselves while supporting the communities they serve.

The format is fully self-paced. It includes eight recorded ninety-minute sessions you move through at your own pace, with no fixed schedule. Each section pairs guided audio and video practices with home-practice resources, embodiment strategies, and storytelling and community support. You gain access to all recorded sessions and supporting materials, allowing you to revisit the breathwork, movement, and meditation practices whenever you need them.

Embodied Medicine carries no certificate; its outcomes are personal. The program sets out to help you become attuned to and grounded in your body through practices that signal safety, grounding, empowerment and liberation. You keep the recorded sessions, home-practice audio and video resources and embodiment strategies, along with the storytelling and support of the sister-circle community.

This was amazing. Being surrounded by others who have similar beliefs and view points was recharging. it was amazing to learn more about myself through critical thinking questions. Lade and Jadine did a fantastic job in setting up a comfortable foundation for me to show up as me and I really appreciated that. Thank you for this opportunity, it came at a perfect time in my life and I am truly grateful.

Be Well + Slay Your Business brought me back to myself. From the very beginning it felt different than any business-building approach I had experienced in the past. I feel grounded in my own values, embodied in my own unique medicine and empowered to break through many of my own fear-patterns. The deep connections and continued support I feel from the course has been a beautiful gift. Thank you Jadine.
