Brett Larkin Yoga Uplifted: 300 Hour Online Yoga Teacher Training

Course program

The 300 Hour Online Yoga Teacher Training by Brett Larkin Yoga Uplifted is a Yoga Alliance-accredited advanced program that pairs deeper yoga study with business mentorship. It is built for 200-hour graduates who want to refine their teaching voice, expand their curriculum, and grow a sustainable career as a teacher.

This training is for teachers who have already completed a 200-hour certification through Uplifted or another Yoga Alliance-approved school, who want to deepen their expertise in anatomy, sequencing, the subtle body, and injury management, and who want structured mentorship and accountability rather than a fully self-paced path. A crossover option is available for teachers transferring from an unfinished online training.

The curriculum is organized in three modules:

1. The Subtle Body: chakra system (with Anodea Judith), granthis, shariras, koshas and vayus, brain anatomy and the limbic system, Tantra and Samkhya philosophy, meditation and mantra, internal organs.
2. Adaptive Yoga: biomechanics and alignment, myofascial release, progression and regression, trauma-informed teaching, nervous system education, advanced asana (including arm balances), fascial fitness, diversity and inclusion.
3. Professional Feedback and Business: mindset and imposter syndrome, building digital assets, website creation and conversion, email marketing, social media, client attraction, financial planning, teaching online.

Students also study advanced pranayama, asana, and meditation alongside therapeutic applications. The syllabus is delivered through short home-study video lessons, printed manuals, worksheets, and journaling exercises.

Program Director Brett Larkin, E-RYT 500, founded Uplifted Yoga in 2015 and designed the curriculum. Guest faculty include Anodea Judith, PhD on chakras; Kristin Leal (MetaAnatomy creator) on advanced anatomy; Kristi Kuttner on restorative, yin, and adaptive yoga; Yogiraj Alan Finger on Tantra and Kriya; Danni Pomplun on biomechanics; and Lauren Handel Zander of Handel Group on life coaching. Uplifted has trained teachers across 80+ countries since 2015.

The format is hybrid. Students access the full home-study video library and printed manuals immediately, then attend one weekly 90 to 120 minute live Zoom call with their cohort for six months. Three time slots are offered each week (Monday, Wednesday, or Friday) to accommodate a global student base. Cohorts start in January and June. Students keep lifetime access to the video content, manuals, and community.
