iPEC: Executive Coaching Certification Program

Course program

The Executive Coaching Certification Program by iPEC is an ICF-accredited path for coaches who want to work with executives, business leaders, and organizational teams. It combines iPEC’s Core Energy Coaching methodology with the optional COR.E Leadership Dynamics Specialist (CLDS) credential, a niche certification focused on leadership and workplace influence.

This program is for people who want to coach accomplished executives and leadership teams, including career changers entering coaching for the first time, as well as HR professionals, managers, and consultants who want to formalize their coaching practice and specialize in the executive market.

The curriculum centers on the Core Energy Coaching methodology — a framework for helping clients shift energy patterns and create sustainable change. Students learn to coach leaders on influencing others, building cultures of collaboration and innovation, balancing work and personal life, reducing workplace burnout, and navigating corporate politics and conflict with integrity.

Students also become certified in the Energy Leadership Index (ELI) and gain access to a resource library of coaching tools, templates, and assignments. The optional COR.E Dynamics module adds 40 hours and focuses specifically on leadership coaching tools and frameworks.

The program is led by iPEC’s Lead Trainers, all masters-level instructors in the Core Energy Coaching curriculum who hold ICF PCC or MCC credentials. iPEC has been training coaches for over 25 years and has graduated more than 25,000 coaches worldwide.

The format is hybrid: three live training modules of three days each (offered either in-person or virtually, with midweek or weekend options), combined with self-study between modules, live webinars, and one-on-one mentor coaching sessions. The core program runs approximately seven to ten months. The optional COR.E Leadership Dynamics Specialist add-on adds another 40 hours of specialization.
