Kathryn Hocking Astrology: Level 1 Business Astrology Certification

This certification is for soulful entrepreneurs and aspiring astrologers who want to move from casual chart reading to confident, client-ready practice. It suits students who have been studying astrology on their own and want a cohesive framework they can stand behind. No prior credentials are required.

The curriculum is built around seven sections. The first, Foundations of Astrology, builds a modern working knowledge of the chart. The next five sections apply a business lens to each layer of the chart: Your Astrological Signature (Sun, Moon, Rising) for identity and direction; Your Astrological Style (Mercury, Venus, Mars) for communication, magnetism, and decision-making; Your Astrological Substance (Jupiter, Saturn) for growth and sustainability; Your Astrological Soul (Chiron, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto) for deeper patterns and transformation; and Your Astrological Purpose (Lunar Nodes) for soul calling and career direction.

The final section, Intuitive and Insightful Chart Reading, ties the framework together with an ethical client-facing structure — how to deliver a business astrology reading responsibly, hold scope and boundaries, and avoid disempowering interpretations when clients’ money, timing, and livelihoods are involved.

Each section combines video lessons, text, workbooks, quizzes, and assignments. Students who pursue certification also complete three written chart readings using provided templates.

The program is led by Kathryn Hocking, an Australian business astrologer and creator of the Business Astrology Academy. Kathryn is the author of the Business Astrology Oracle Deck, published by Hay House, and has spent the past decade studying Soul & Energy Medicine, Intuitive Arts, Astrology, and other forms of Metaphysical Healing. Her approach blends practical business strategy with evolutionary, intuitive astrology.

The format is self-paced with structured community support. Students move through video lessons, text content, and workbooks at their own pace, with lifetime access to the course materials and 15 months of access to a private student community for questions, accountability, and peer support. A certification coach provides optional guidance and feedback through the certification pathway. There are no required live sessions.
