Loka Yoga School: Online Embodied Feminine Arts

Course program

Online Embodied Feminine Arts by Loka Yoga School is a 9-month self-paced certification in feminine embodiment and somatic ritual. Led by Deva Angel, the program blends ancient womb wisdom with modern somatic science, guiding students through a structured Womb Priestess initiation that prepares them to integrate the work personally or facilitate it for other women.

This training is designed for women interested in feminine embodiment, somatic healing, and womb-centered practice. No formal prerequisites are stated. It supports both women who want to deepen their personal practice and those who want to hold space for other women — yoga teachers, healers, and space holders looking to expand into feminine embodiment work. The certification is structured as Yoga Alliance continuing education, so existing yoga teachers can log it toward their YACEP hours.

The curriculum unfolds across five ceremonial sections plus an opening and closing ritual. Sacred Opening Ritual establishes intention with an opening blessing and invocation. Opening the Portal introduces yoni steaming, Eight Gates meditation, womb awakening, womb yoga, and yoni nidra. Shamanic Menstruation explores the four phases of the menstrual cycle as a somatic and energetic map. Embodiment and Sensual Reclamation covers sacred sensual dance, breast massage and self-love rituals, voice activation and chakra toning, yoni puja, sacred erotic awakening, and self-pleasure rituals. Embodied Mastery integrates the work through full-length practice videos and personal journey reflection.

Alongside the ritual practice, the training covers somatic science and the nervous system, ancestral healing and trauma alchemy, ethical and trauma-aware space holding for clients, and a four-pillar framework spanning Body, Spirit, Self-Sovereignty, and Transmission.

The training is led by Deva Angel, a Yoga Alliance E-RYT teacher with over 20 years of experience in sacred sensual work, somatic trauma healing, and feminine lineage transmission. Her teaching draws on a decade of working with women in Bali and her own Womb Priestess initiation in 2015. The course is hosted by Loka Yoga School, a Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga School based in Bali.

The format is fully self-paced. Students access pre-recorded videos, guided rituals, and full-length practice sessions on their own schedule, with lifetime access to the curriculum and future updates. Enrolment also includes entry to a private global community of students and guides called The Winged Ones. The page does not describe required live sessions, scheduled cohorts, or fixed start dates.

I recently completed this breathwork course, and I genuinely found it to be a very valuable and informative experience. The content was presented in a clear, structured, and easy-to-follow way, which made even more complex concepts feel approachable and grounded. I appreciated how the course balanced both theory and practical application, allowing me to not only understand why breathwork works, but also how to use it effectively and safely.

Bang for your buck! This course is so rich in knowledge and practical learning techniques. I will be learning over and over as I practice these pranayamas in a deeper spiritual way. Yann and Taryn are very clear and compassionate in their sharing of the lessons.

Having done multiple online courses, this one stood out for its depth and practicality. The teaching section was phenomenal. I loved the anatomy, the guided sessions, and how I now truly understand the breath.

This course exceeded every expectation. I thought I was just filling in gaps — but I walked away with a complete, embodied understanding. I finally feel ready to guide others in a safe, informed way. The value is unmatched.

Brilliant course! The course is well structured into bite size chunks to navigate at your own pace. The anatomy component is quite detailed, even though considered relatively basic, and it was a great addition to the course, to offer the physiological and scientific aspect of breathwork efficacy. Both Taryn and Yann are knowledgeable instructors.
