Astrology Basics & Beyond by Luminous Life Multiversity is a self-paced foundation course in natal astrology taught by Annie Botticelli. It walks students through the six core building blocks of chart reading, with an emphasis on understanding the range of potentials each planet, sign, house, aspect, and transit can express.

The curriculum is organised around the six foundational elements of chart reading. Students begin with the wheel itself — what it represents and how to read it — before moving into the planets and the signs and houses they rule, along with the lessons and opportunities each planet brings.
From there, the course explores the houses in depth, including the qualities they hold and how they relate to planets and signs, and then the signs themselves and the energetic potentials that sit within each one. The final sections cover aspects — the mathematical relationships between planets in natal, transit, and other charts — and transits, including how planetary movements shape personal and collective experience and how to calculate the timing of events.
A recurring theme is that each planet, sign, house, aspect, and transit has a range of possible expressions. Rather than defaulting to negative readings, students learn to recognise the lessons an astrological element is offering and work with it more gracefully.
Annie Botticelli has taught astrology for close to two decades, with more than 23 years of personal practice. She is the founder of Luminous Life Multiversity, hosts the Astro Kisses podcast, and runs a long-standing YouTube channel dedicated to astrology education. She is also the author of Planetology, a guide to aligning with the natural rhythms of the universe.
