Joe Holder Teaches Fitness and Wellness Fundamentals is a MasterClass led by Nike Master Trainer and GQ fitness columnist Joe Holder. Across twelve video lessons, he shares his Ocho System — a holistic approach to physical health that brings together smart workouts, real food, and a stronger mindset. The class is aimed at building sustainable habits rather than short-term results.

There are no prerequisites for this class. It is open to anyone who wants a grounded introduction to training, nutrition, and recovery from a professional coach. The lessons are useful for newcomers building their first routine, casual exercisers looking to train smarter, and curious learners interested in a holistic, habit-driven view of fitness and wellness.

The class is built around Joe Holder’s Ocho System, his framework for physical health. After meeting your instructor and walking through the system’s origins, you’ll explore biomotor skills as the foundation of physical health and learn how to read the data your body gives you in order to train more intelligently.

The curriculum then moves into practice. Three full workouts are included: a Mobility Workout, a HIIT Workout, and a Strength Workout, each filmed with Joe so you can train along. Alongside these, you’ll learn how to work out smarter and harder rather than longer, and how to think about progress over time.

On the nutrition side, the class covers Ocho System Food 101 — eating real and eating right — plus practical food hacks that fit into a busy lifestyle. The final chapters focus on the importance of proper recovery and the mental catalysts that turn one-off effort into long-term habit.
