Meditation Teacher Collective: 200 Hour Meditation Teacher Training

Course program

The 200 Hour Meditation Teacher Training by Meditation Teacher Collective is a 100-day at-home program that prepares students to teach meditation across four central categories: Present Moment Awareness, Calm Focus, Transcendence / Self-Discovery, and Energized Body and Mind. Co-created by Liddy Arens and Charlie Knoles of The Veda Center, the training blends practical teaching skills with philosophy, science, and the business of running a meditation practice.

This training is for yoga teachers and wellness professionals seeking to add meditation to their offerings, individuals who want to teach meditation to friends, family, and communities, and knowledge seekers who wish to deepen their own meditation practice and become master meditators, regardless of whether they plan to teach regularly. No prior credentials are required.

The curriculum is built around the four categories of meditation. Students learn simple, effective techniques for cultivating Present Moment Awareness, Calm Focus, Transcendence and Self-Discovery, and Energized Body and Mind — and how to teach each one to different kinds of students.

Beyond technique, the program covers the philosophy and science behind meditation, and the business of being a teacher. The emphasis is practical and hands-on: students practice teaching multiple methods of meditation to their instructors and peers, building a library of material they can use to start a teaching practice right away.

The training is co-created and led by Charlie Knoles and Liddy Arens of The Veda Center. Charlie is a Vedic Meditation teacher who began meditating at age 4 and has taught over 10,000 people — from CEOs and monks to stay-at-home parents. His work has been featured in the Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Well and Good, and MindBodyGreen. Liddy is a co-founder of The Veda Center who integrates yoga, ayurveda, cognitive behavioral therapy, and hypnotherapy alongside meditation, with a focus on women’s health, fertility, and pregnancy.

The training runs 100 days, delivered online with content that unlocks sequentially. It combines at-home self-study with live calls and video feedback on student teaching, so learners receive personalized guidance as they build their skills. Registering unlocks the first 7 days of the course risk-free, with a full refund available within that window.
