Mindful Store: Find Your Focus Course

Course program

The Find Your Focus Course by Mindful Store is a self-paced online program led by neuroscientist Dr. Amishi Jha. Built around the science of attention, the course teaches how the brain’s focus systems work, why modern life fragments them, and how short mindfulness practices can strengthen them in just twelve minutes a day.

This course is open to anyone who struggles with fragmented attention and lack of focus — from professionals navigating constant connectivity to leaders, parents, and athletes who want to be more present. No prior mindfulness experience is required. Even practitioners with years of experience will find new insights into how attention shapes thinking, feeling, and connecting.

The curriculum is built around 15+ video classes organized into five core topics: Attention is Powerful, Attention is Vulnerable, Attention is Receptive, Attention is Trainable, and Attention Fuels Your Success. Each section unpacks a different facet of how the brain’s attention networks operate, why they break down under stress and distraction, and how mindfulness can rebuild them.

Dr. Jha translates her laboratory research into accessible, practical mindfulness practices that can be used in twelve-minute daily sessions. Students learn to work with their attention to enhance everyday life, to perform at a higher level both personally and professionally, and to develop greater leadership skills. The course draws on Dr. Jha’s work training high-stress populations — including four-star generals and professional athletes — and shows how the same attention-training methods apply to everyday challenges of fragmented focus, missed moments, and reactivity.

The course is led by Dr. Amishi Jha, neuroscientist, Professor of Psychology at the University of Miami, and author of Peak Mind, a book on the science of attention. Her research, funded by the US Department of Defense and several private foundations, focuses on how mindfulness-based training strengthens the brain’s attention networks and builds resilience in high-stress cohorts.

The course is delivered as a self-paced online program through Mindful’s premium course platform. Students work through 15+ video classes organized into five core topics, paired with twelve-minute daily practices designed to fit into a working day. Materials are accessible after a one-time enrollment with no live sessions or fixed schedule, so students can move through the practices on their own timeline.
