The curriculum is built around 15+ video classes organized into five core topics: Attention is Powerful, Attention is Vulnerable, Attention is Receptive, Attention is Trainable, and Attention Fuels Your Success. Each section unpacks a different facet of how the brain’s attention networks operate, why they break down under stress and distraction, and how mindfulness can rebuild them.
Dr. Jha translates her laboratory research into accessible, practical mindfulness practices that can be used in twelve-minute daily sessions. Students learn to work with their attention to enhance everyday life, to perform at a higher level both personally and professionally, and to develop greater leadership skills. The course draws on Dr. Jha’s work training high-stress populations — including four-star generals and professional athletes — and shows how the same attention-training methods apply to everyday challenges of fragmented focus, missed moments, and reactivity.
