Mindful Store: How to Meditate Course

Course program

How to Meditate by Mindful Store is a self-paced online meditation course led by psychologist Elisha Goldstein, PhD. It introduces the core practices and mindset of mindfulness meditation through four progressive modules, with tools and techniques a student can begin using in daily life from day one.

This course is for beginners who want to build a steady meditation habit and students with some exposure to mindfulness who want a structured foundation. It suits people looking to reduce stress, build resilience, and learn to respond rather than react in everyday life. No prior experience is required.

The curriculum is organized into four modules. Module 1, Begin It, covers the basics of making mindfulness a habit, building focus, a breathing practice, the ten attitudes of mindfulness, and how to navigate the change journey. Module 2, Deepen It, introduces working with the body, mindfulness of emotions, the body scan, walking meditation, and the common obstacles to a meditation practice.

Module 3, Love It, turns toward the heart: warming the heart, loving-kindness meditation, soothing the inner critic, nurturing the kind inner voice, and the heart of generosity. Module 4, Live It, focuses on integration — the mindset for mastery, designing a mindful life, the role of your social circle, and practical tips for making meditation stick.

Each module includes downloadable guided audio practices (mindful breathing, body scan, outdoor walking meditation, loving-kindness) and recorded live Q&A sessions with Elisha for deeper context.

The course is led by Elisha Goldstein, PhD, a psychologist with a private practice in West Los Angeles and the co-founder of The Center for Mindful Living. He is the creator of the 6-month mentorship program A Course in Mindful Living and a published author whose work integrates traditional psychotherapy with mindfulness-based approaches to mental and emotional healing.

The course is fully self-paced. Students work through multi-part video modules at their own speed, with a downloadable workbook, worksheets, and audio meditations of varying lengths. Access is lifetime, so the material can be revisited as the practice evolves. Enrollment is a one-time payment with no scheduled live sessions.
