Yoga Nidra: Deep Rest and Renewal is a self-paced online course from Mindful Store, led by author and mindfulness trainer Kelly Boys. Over seven days, the program introduces Yoga Nidra — also known as NSDR, or non-sleep deep rest — as a practical tool for easing stress, resetting the nervous system, and supporting physical and emotional healing.

The course is for anyone curious about Yoga Nidra, from complete beginners to experienced meditators seeking a structured introduction. It is especially suited for people dealing with ongoing stress, difficulty sleeping, or those who rarely feel fully rested. No prior experience with yoga or meditation is required.

Each of the seven sessions pairs an in-depth lesson with a guided Yoga Nidra practice led by Kelly. Session one focuses on relaxation as a skill and foundation for the rest of the work. Session two explores connecting with a sense of purpose. Session three turns attention to core beliefs and how they shape daily experience. Session four introduces acceptance as a practice rather than a passive state.

The remaining sessions apply Yoga Nidra to specific areas of life. Session five addresses anxiety and how to meet it with compassionate attention. Session six looks at transitions — the expected and unexpected changes that arise throughout life — and how Yoga Nidra can support navigating them. Session seven closes the program with tools for using the practice to improve sleep.

Throughout the course, students learn to use Yoga Nidra as a reliable way to enter deep rest, regulate the nervous system, and work with difficult emotions and thought patterns.

The program is taught by Kelly Boys, an author, mindfulness trainer, and consultant whose focus is NSDR/Yoga Nidra practice. Kelly teaches internationally through the United Nations and has worked extensively in trauma-sensitive mindfulness, including offering Yoga Nidra classes to incarcerated veterans.

The format is fully self-paced online. Students receive access to seven in-depth lessons and seven guided Yoga Nidra audio sessions that can be practiced in any order and returned to as often as needed.
