My Vinyasa Practice: Entrepreneurship Training

Course program

Entrepreneurship Training by My Vinyasa Practice is a self-paced online course for yoga teachers, holistic practitioners, and aspiring wellness entrepreneurs who want to build a purpose-driven business. The program integrates yogic principles with practical business tools, guiding students through the foundations of launching and growing a wellness enterprise.

This course is for yoga teachers, yoga therapists, bodyworkers, holistic coaches, and other wellness practitioners who want to start or grow their own business. No prior business experience is required, and the curriculum is open to learners at any stage — from those still shaping an idea to seasoned practitioners ready to scale an existing practice.

The training covers the core areas of running a wellness business. Students study ethical entrepreneurship, branding and storytelling, pricing models, and how to identify their unique value proposition in a crowded wellness market. The curriculum then moves into digital marketing and SEO, client communication and outreach, and community engagement strategies designed for purpose-driven practitioners.

Additional sections address bookkeeping, sustainable growth, and scaling. Throughout the program, Michelle Young weaves yogic wisdom into modern business practice, so that students learn not only how to market and sell their services but also how to lead with intention. The course includes downloadable templates, branding kits, and launch planning materials to support each step.

The course is led by Michelle Young, a Certified Yoga Therapist (C-IAYT) and E-RYT 500 with Yoga Alliance who specializes in cardiac, cancer, eating recovery, and behavioral health. Michelle is supported by Tara Cleven, also E-RYT 500 and C-IAYT. Both bring decades of experience teaching yoga and training wellness professionals through My Vinyasa Practice.

The format is self-paced and fully remote. Students complete the program over a minimum of four weeks, working through pre-recorded lectures, e-books, and digital course materials at their own pace. The school provides live support during business hours along with various weekly live calls, plus one-on-one mentorship for students who need individualized guidance. All materials and the MVP School App are included.

As someone who wanted a more therapeutic approach to yoga, this training was exactly what I needed. The instruction is clear, compassionate, and deeply informed by the Viniyoga tradition. I gained practical tools for working with different bodies and abilities, learned mindful pacing.

This program helped me reconnect with the heart of yoga. The integration of philosophy, functional movement, and breathwork created a learning experience that felt both personal and transformative. I've grown not only as a teacher but also as a practitioner.
