My Vinyasa Practice: Yoga Therapy for Fertility and Preconception

Course program

Yoga Therapy for Fertility and Preconception by My Vinyasa Practice is a self-paced online mini-series exploring how yoga, breathwork, meditation, and Ayurveda can support fertility health. The course blends evidence-based perspectives with yogic wisdom to address the physical, emotional, and energetic aspects of preparing for conception, taught by a certified yoga therapist trained in Maharishi Ayurveda.

This course is open to women on their fertility and preconception journey who want gentle, embodied tools for navigating this stage of life, as well as wellness practitioners and yoga teachers seeking practices to support clients trying to conceive. No prior credentials or yoga experience are required to enroll, and the self-paced format welcomes complete beginners alongside seasoned practitioners.

The training combines yogic and Ayurvedic perspectives on fertility, working with reproductive anatomy, hormonal balance, and the nervous system. You’ll explore yogic techniques to reduce stress and support hormonal balance, alongside specific practices designed to improve blood flow and circulation to the reproductive organs.

Meditation and breathwork practices anchor the curriculum, offering tools for emotional and spiritual well-being during what is often an uncertain stage of life. You’ll work with mindfulness-based approaches to help cultivate emotional resilience and a calmer, more grounded relationship with your fertility path.

The course also introduces Ayurvedic techniques drawn from the Maharishi Ayurveda tradition, with guidance on how to create a nurturing inner environment as part of preconception preparation. Together, these threads form a practical, integrative approach that addresses the physical, emotional, and energetic dimensions of fertility, giving students concrete practices they can return to throughout their journey or share with clients in their own work.

The program is guided by Kaytee Hernandez, a certified yoga therapist (C-IAYT) and E-RYT500 with a Master’s degree in Integrative Medicine and Maharishi Ayurveda from Maharishi International University. Her work bridges modern science and traditional yogic teaching, with a trauma-informed and inclusive approach. My Vinyasa Practice is a Yoga Alliance-registered school serving a community of more than 60,000 international students.

The course is fully self-paced and pre-recorded, accessed online through the My Vinyasa Practice school platform. Students receive lifetime access to all materials, including recorded lectures and yoga practices, and can move through the content at their own rhythm. Ongoing support is available through live group calls held during business hours, alongside one-on-one personalized guidance from MVP’s teaching team.

This program helped me reconnect with the heart of yoga. The integration of philosophy, functional movement, and breathwork created a learning experience that felt both personal and transformative. I've grown not only as a teacher but also as a practitioner.
