My Vinyasa Practice: Yoga Therapy for Manifestation: Turning Dreams into Reality

Course program

Yoga Therapy for Manifestation: Turning Dreams into Reality is an integrative, self-paced mini course from My Vinyasa Practice. Led by C-IAYT Yoga Therapist Michelle Young, the program blends evidence-based tools with yogic philosophy to explore the physical, emotional, and energetic foundations of intentional living. It sits within MVP’s On Demand Yoga Therapy series.

This course is open to anyone curious about manifestation and yoga therapy — no prior credentials, prerequisites, or teaching experience are required. It’s designed for students who want to move beyond surface-level affirmations and cultivate real, embodied change, whether that means clarifying career direction, reshaping relationships, or deepening personal practice. Both newer practitioners and seasoned yoga students can take it as personal enrichment.

The course explores the mind-body connection and how belief systems, emotional patterns, and physiological responses can either support or block manifestation. You’ll study the subtle energy systems of yoga — the chakras and koshas — and how the physical, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual layers shape the way intentions take form. Coursework moves between targeted asana practices, breathwork, and meditation drawn from yoga therapy, paired with reflective inquiry and journaling that turns insight into aligned action.

Michelle’s teaching brings a yoga therapy lens informed by neuroplasticity, somatic transformation, and the energy body, alongside traditional yogic philosophy. Practical work focuses on aligning with inner purpose, recognizing self-limiting beliefs, building the focus and resilience needed to act on goals, and using yogic tools — asana, mindfulness, and breathwork — as everyday supports for an intentional life.

The course is led by Michelle Young, founder of My Vinyasa Practice and a C-IAYT Yoga Therapist (E-RYT 500) specializing in cardiac, cancer, eating recovery, and behavioral health. Michelle is supported by Tara Cleven, also a C-IAYT and E-RYT 500. My Vinyasa Practice is a Yoga Alliance Approved School serving a global community of more than 60,000 students.

The format is fully self-paced and on demand. Lessons are delivered through pre-recorded video lectures, asana practices with Michelle, written content, and PDF downloads, plus recorded live lectures accessible via Zoom links. Students get lifetime access to all materials, alongside ongoing support during MVP’s business hours, weekly live calls, and one-on-one support for questions about the practices.

This Viniyoga training exceeded every expectation I had. I loved how each lesson emphasized personalization and adapting yoga to the individual. I now feel confident offering sequences that truly meet my students where they are.

As someone who wanted a more therapeutic approach to yoga, this training was exactly what I needed. The instruction is clear, compassionate, and deeply informed by the Viniyoga tradition. I gained practical tools for working with different bodies and abilities, learned mindful pacing.

This program helped me reconnect with the heart of yoga. The integration of philosophy, functional movement, and breathwork created a learning experience that felt both personal and transformative. I've grown not only as a teacher but also as a practitioner.
