Course program

The Science of Crystal Healing Course by Natural Healer is a self-paced online program led by Usui Reiki Master Teacher Melissa, founder of Natural Healer. It teaches how to use crystals to support energy healing for yourself, your family, friends, or clients, working from foundational principles through to chakra stone work and crystal grid practice.

No prior experience or credentials are required — the course is suitable for complete beginners as well as practicing energy healers looking to add crystals to their toolkit. It is built for personal practice, for healers using crystals alongside other modalities such as Reiki, and for graduates who plan to start a business offering crystal energy healing sessions.

The curriculum is organised in eight parts. You begin with the science behind crystal healing and the basics of how energy healing works, then move into the relationship between crystals and chakras through a chakra basics chapter and chakra and crystal chart references. The middle of the course covers choosing crystals for purchase, placement methods including distance work, and the cleansing techniques that keep different crystal types energetically maintained.

The largest section is dedicated to specific chakra stones, with separate chapters for the Root, Sacral, Solar Plexus, Heart, Throat, Third Eye, and Crown Chakras. You then learn how to work with others through zodiac stones and birthstones, a step-by-step chakra balancing session for clients, self-healing steps, sleep aid placements, and crystal grids — including Flower of Life, Seed of Life, vibrant health, and love grid formations — alongside guidance on working safely with the public.

The course is taught by Melissa, founder of Natural Healer and a Usui Reiki Master Teacher, Certified Meditation Teacher, and Registered Natural Healer. She is an Accredited Training Provider with the International Association of Therapists (IAOT) and the Massage Association of Australia (MAA), and has taught energy healing online since 2014 to students in more than 190 countries.

The format is fully self-paced and delivered online, with 24/7 access from anywhere. Students receive an 86-page handbook (PDF), 15 video lectures with closed captioning, 36 written articles, meditation audio downloads, and the online student platform. There is no time limit on completion — Natural Healer estimates the course can be finished within a week of part-time study — and graduates retain lifetime access to all materials.
