Nordic Flow: Level 2: Breathwork Coach Certification

Course program

Level 2: Breathwork Coach Certification is an advanced hybrid training from Nordic Wave, designed for Level 1 graduates and experienced breathwork coaches who want to lead Modern Mindfulness workshops professionally. The program combines eight weeks of live online coursework, a coaching residency, and a three-day in-person retreat to turn the Nordic Flow ecosystem into a working coaching practice.

This program is for students who already have a foundation in breathwork—either through Nordic Wave’s Level 1 course or equivalent coaching experience. It suits practitioners who want to work with clients professionally, expand an existing wellness offering, or become a certified Nordic coach contractor.

The curriculum is structured across ten modules. After onboarding, the program opens with a deep dive into breath science and Balance Breathing, then moves through the full Nordic Flow ecosystem and Flow Score framework for tracking breath fluency. The core coaching weeks explore Recovery Breathing for sleep and nervous system restoration, Resilience Breathing for stress and emotional regulation, and Performance Breathing for athletic and cognitive performance.

Later weeks address cold exposure coaching and hormesis integration, followed by a dedicated module on workshop optimization and revenue building — covering how to structure, price, and deliver breathwork workshops as a working coach. The final weeks include the Level 2 certification exam, a coaching residency with a practice workshop, and the in-person retreat where students demonstrate their facilitation skills.

The program is led by Dr. Rob Williams, PhD, Head of Nordic University and a Master Coach in the Nordic Wave education program. Each student receives a 1:1 onboarding and goal-setting session with Dr. Williams, and certified coaches continue to meet for quarterly masterminds led by him after certification.

The format is hybrid. Live online classes run on Monday evenings from 6–7 pm EST for eight weeks, with recordings available for anyone who cannot attend live. Students then complete a coaching residency that includes delivering a practice workshop. The training culminates in a three-day in-person retreat held in North America — 2026 retreats are scheduled in San Diego and a second U.S. location. Students also get access to the Nordic University Portal, a comprehensive Level 2 manual, and an optional WhatsApp community for Level 2 cohort members and coaches.
