Online Yoga School: 300-Hour Yoga Teacher Training Online

Course program

The 300-Hour Yoga Teacher Training Online by Lifted Lotus Online Yoga School is a Yoga Alliance RYS-300 accredited advanced program for existing yoga teachers. Built around the eight limbs of yoga from the Yoga Sutras, it expands asana practice while deepening work across pranayama, mudra, mantra, meditation, philosophy, and teaching craft.

This training is designed for yoga teachers who have already completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training and want to earn their RYT-500 registration. It suits teachers looking to refine their cueing and sequencing, broaden their philosophical foundation, and add specialized skills in accessible asana, trauma-sensitive yoga, and yoga therapy-informed approaches.

The curriculum spans twelve modules. Advanced Ethics covers the yamas and niyamas, teaching ethics on the mat, and professional boundaries. Yoga Mythology explores symbolism, Sanskrit, and eighteen myths tied to posture and practice. Advanced Anatomy examines muscles, connective tissue, the spine, and body mechanics, while a full module on Contraindications addresses spinal, cardiovascular, psychiatric, and neurological considerations.

Advanced Pranayama covers the anatomy of breath, bandhas, and fourteen advanced techniques. Advanced Asana goes into drishti, prana vayus, accessible asana, yoga drills, and fifty postures with modifications and contraindications. Additional modules cover Advanced Mantra, fifty-plus mudras, meditation traditions and script writing, sequencing with cueing formulas and energetic arcs, trauma-sensitive teaching, and the business of yoga.

The program closes with the Seva Project, in which students design and teach a two-hour workshop on a yoga-related topic of their choice, with proceeds donated to a chosen charity.

The program is led by founder Steph Ball-Mitchell, E-RYT-500, C-IAYT yoga therapist, and Licensed Professional Counselor with more than 25 years of experience in yoga and movement. Her teaching integrates nervous system regulation, breath awareness, and embodied movement. Steph previously served on the Education Committee of Yoga Alliance.

The format is self-paced and fully online. Students progress through video lessons, teaching manuals, and downloads on their own schedule, with 24/7 and lifelong access through web and mobile. Optional live Zoom sessions, virtual study groups, practice teaching sessions, and mentorship support are available throughout the training.
