Online Yoga School: Partner Thai Yoga Workshop

Course program

The Partner Thai Yoga Workshop by Online Yoga School is a short continuing education program in partner-based Thai Yoga. Rooted in the Eastern lineage of bodywork along the Sen energy lines, it prepares students to lead a safe and effective partner Thai Yoga class or workshop with confidence.

This workshop is designed for yoga teachers and trained practitioners who want to add partner Thai Yoga to their teaching toolkit and earn Yoga Alliance continuing education hours. It is also open to dedicated students of yoga and bodywork who want a structured introduction to partner Thai practice — partner here means anyone you trust, not necessarily a romantic partner.

The workshop is organized into three parts. The Basics covers the history of Thai Yoga, the philosophy of partner practice, the Sen lines of energy in the body, how to prepare your space, foundations of partner Thai Yoga, pressure and methods, stances, and preparation for the giver. It also introduces Metta meditation and the Om Mani Padme Hum mantra, alongside hand connection work.

The Full Body Sequence walks step by step through partner Thai Yoga for the feet, legs, abdomen, hands, wrists, chest, arms, back, shoulders, and relaxation. The Bonuses round out the training with the business of partner Thai Yoga, a 3-hour full body practice video, and a color teaching manual with photographs, handouts, and marketing materials to support you in running your own partner Thai Yoga class or workshop.

The format is fully self-paced and online. You watch pre-recorded video instruction at your own speed, including a 3-hour full body partner practice video that you can return to whenever you need it. The accompanying color manual, downloadable handouts, and marketing materials are designed to be used both for your own study and to share with your future students.
