The curriculum is organized into eight written chapters, each structured around an overview, learning objectives, quick facts, key terms, core learnings, and a summary. Chapter 1 introduces ketosis and its benefits, covering the metabolic state of ketosis and how it differs from using carbohydrates for energy. Chapter 2 addresses food quality and nutrient density, including what to eat, what to avoid, and how to navigate “keto-approved” products and budget constraints. Chapter 3 covers inducing natural ketosis and managing the keto flu.
Chapter 4 focuses on personalizing keto for clients, including different keto variations, gender-specific considerations, and methods for handling hunger and satisfaction. Chapter 5 addresses tracking health metrics and progress, combining objective measurements with subjective experience. Chapter 6 covers managing, maintaining, and troubleshooting ketosis, including when strategies like “dirty keto” and cheat meals may be beneficial. Chapter 7 covers keto-specific supplements, and Chapter 8 addresses lifestyle factors including exercise, sleep, and stress management.
Throughout the program, emphasis is placed on the ability to build customized keto plans, support clients through adaptation, monitor metabolic health, and sustain long-term success.
