The Beginners Astrology Course by Rebecca Gordon Astrology is a self-paced introduction to the language of the birth chart. Taught by Rebecca Gordon, founder of the near 20-year-running Rebecca Gordon Astrology School, it walks students through the history, symbols, and structure of astrology using Rebecca’s Ecosystems Method.
Beginners with no prior experience, students who have explored astrology on their own and want a structured foundation, and anyone interested in reading their own birth chart, understanding planetary cycles in daily life, or beginning a path toward professional astrology. No prerequisites required.
The curriculum is organized into twelve modules that move from the history of astrology to chart synthesis. Students start with the signs in depth, then progress through the houses, the sun and moon in relation, the inner planets and personality, Mars and Venus archetypes in love and business, Jupiter and Saturn in the natal chart, and the generational cycles of Chiron and Uranus.
Later modules explore Neptune’s spiritual lessons, Pluto and the lunar nodes as the pathway of the soul, dispositors and chart shapes, and interpreting aspects. The course culminates in practice sessions for synthesizing a full natal chart reading.
Alongside the video lessons, students work through twelve full-media PDF workbooks, homework assignments, and hand-selected book recommendations for continued study. The course emphasizes developing intuition as well as technical skill, so students learn to interpret a chart rather than memorize keywords.
The program is taught by Rebecca Gordon, a celebrated astrologer, author, and founder of the Rebecca Gordon Astrology School. Rebecca is the resident astrologer for Harper’s Bazaar, a contributing author with the International Society for Astrological Research (ISAR), and co-author of Your Body and the Stars published by Simon and Schuster. She began training with her mother at age 14 and studied under Susan Miller of astrologyzone.com.
The format is fully self-paced. Students receive lifetime access to on-demand video lessons, twelve PDF workbooks, and all course material through the online school portal. Learning is supported by an active Facebook community for questions and peer connection. Rebecca Gordon is the founder of the Rebecca Gordon Astrology School and resident astrologer for Harper's Bazaar. A contributing author with the International Society for Astrological Research (ISAR), she teaches natal chart interpretation, planetary timing, and her own Ecosystems Method of astrology.
