The Meditation and Mindfulness Teacher Training by the School of Positive Transformation is a self-paced certification program that prepares students to deepen their own practice and confidently teach meditation and mindfulness to others. Led by Dr. Itai Ivtzan, the school’s founder and a psychologist with over two decades of teaching experience, the course blends evidence-based positive psychology with practical teaching skills.

The training is for coaches, therapists, yoga teachers, wellness practitioners, educators, corporate professionals who want to integrate meditation and mindfulness into their work, and anyone pursuing personal growth and a teaching path of their own. It is open to students at any level, with no prior credentials or meditation experience required.

The curriculum spans meditation foundations, core principles, and a wide range of techniques including breath-based meditation, walking meditation, loving-kindness, mantra practice, and gratitude. It also explores the distinction between mindfulness and meditation, the neuroscience behind the practice, and how meditation supports well-being and human flourishing.

Beyond personal practice, the training develops teaching methodology: building consistent routines, working with intention, navigating common practice challenges, adapting sessions for different populations, and upholding ethical teaching standards. Students receive over 100 meditation practices and techniques, guided meditation scripts, downloadable audio meditations, worksheets, and royalty-free music tracks they can use in their own teaching.

The program is led by Dr. Itai Ivtzan, a psychologist, university professor, and founder of the School of Positive Transformation. He has taught at the University of East London and Naropa University, authored five books and over fifty scientific publications, and trained more than 15,000 students across 78 countries. His work focuses on the intersection of positive psychology, mindfulness, and meditation.

The format is self-paced and fully online. Students work through 40+ video lessons on their own schedule with lifetime access to all materials, including English subtitles and downloadable transcripts. Dr. Itai Ivtzan

Dr. Itai Ivtzan is a psychologist and university professor with over twenty years in personal transformation. He founded School of Positive Transformation and created the Breathwork Transformation method, combining Circular Breathing with mindfulness. Trained by Leonard Orr, he has authored five books and over fifty scientific publications.
