Course program

The Positive Psychology Practitioner Certification by School of Positive Transformation is an online, self-paced program that brings together the research and methods of leading positive psychology academics. Designed and led by Dr. Itai Ivtzan, the course gives students a working understanding of the theory, practice, and science behind human flourishing.

Open to anyone with an interest in wellbeing and positive psychology. No prior psychology degree or credential is required. The program is built for coaches, therapists, educators, HR professionals, entrepreneurs, and individuals who want practical tools to support resilience, relationships, and meaning in their own lives, their clients, and their communities.

The curriculum is organised into twelve core modules, each led by a leading researcher in the field. Topics include Mindfulness in Positive Psychology with Dr. Itai Ivtzan, Positive Emotions and Love with Barbara Fredrickson, Positive Mindset and Everyday Heroes with Phil Zimbardo, Character Strengths with Ryan Niemiec, Compassion and Altruism with Matthieu Ricard, and Meaning and Purpose with Mike Steger.

Additional modules cover Positive Education with Lea Waters, Resilience and Post-Traumatic Growth with Michael Ungar, Positive Relationships with James and Suzie Pawelski, Positive Coaching with Suzy Green, Happiness with Sonja Lyubomirsky, and Positive Organizations with Kim Cameron. The program includes more than 250 positive psychology activities and exercises, giving students concrete tools to apply with individuals, groups, organizations, and communities.

The program is led by Dr. Itai Ivtzan, a psychologist and university professor who founded School of Positive Transformation. He teaches alongside a faculty of internationally recognised researchers, including Barbara Fredrickson, Phil Zimbardo, Ryan Niemiec, Matthieu Ricard, Mike Steger, Lea Waters, Michael Ungar, James and Suzie Pawelski, Suzy Green, Sonja Lyubomirsky, and Kim Cameron.

The course is fully online and self-paced, with lifetime access to more than 40 video lessons and a downloadable practitioner toolkit. Students progress through the material on their own schedule and can complete the program in as little as eight weeks. An optional weekly live Q&A session and a private online community provide space for questions, networking, and peer support throughout the journey.

Dr. Itai Ivtzan

Dr. Itai Ivtzan is a psychologist and university professor with over twenty years in personal transformation. He founded School of Positive Transformation and created the Breathwork Transformation method, combining Circular Breathing with mindfulness. Trained by Leonard Orr, he has authored five books and over fifty scientific publications.
