The curriculum is built around classical Hatha Yoga and its supporting practices. You’ll work through alignment fundamentals, sun salutations, and the asana groups covered in the Hatha Yoga Pradipika — standing, seated, core, supine, backward extension, and arm-balancing postures. Kriyas appear on two levels: shatkarma cleansing techniques and warming-up sequences that prepare the body for practice.
Alongside posture work, the program covers mantra meditation as a study of sacred sound, sequencing principles for building classes, and a teaching methodology unit that translates personal practice into instruction. The course stays focused on Hatha — anatomy and broader philosophy are intentionally trimmed so the time goes into the modality itself, including the lineage texts the Hatha Yoga Pradipika and Hatha Ratnavali.
