Siddhi Yoga: 200 Hour Hatha Yoga Teacher Training

Course program

The 200-Hour Hatha Yoga Teacher Training by Siddhi Yoga is a Yoga Alliance-accredited online certification rooted in the traditional Hatha Yoga lineage. The program prepares aspiring teachers to lead classes worldwide and register with Yoga Alliance as RYT-200. Siddhi Yoga has run this program since 2013 and trained over 5,000 teachers in 125+ countries.

This training is open to anyone, including complete beginners with no prior yoga background. It suits aspiring teachers who want a recognized credential, busy professionals who need a flexible schedule, and dedicated practitioners who want to deepen their understanding of yoga while earning certification. International students are supported with subtitles in ten languages and live classes scheduled across time zones.

The curriculum is built around the traditional teachings of the Hatha Yoga Pradipika and covers seven core areas: the ethics and history of yoga, the art of yoga asanas, yoga philosophy, pranayama and the subtle body, meditation, yoga anatomy and physiology, and teaching methodology and professional development. Students study key Sanskrit terms and traditional asana names, Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras including the Kleshas and the four Padas, and the practice of Sun Salutations.

Alongside the philosophical and practical foundations, the program emphasizes precise alignment, safety guidelines for injury prevention, and hands-on teaching techniques. Anatomy and physiology are taught with attention to how the body moves in yoga, while pranayama and meditation modules develop chakra awareness and subtle-body understanding. By the end of the training, students are equipped to guide both Hatha and Vinyasa practices with confidence.

The program is led by senior Siddhi Yoga teachers including Yogacharya Tara Dutt, an E-RYT 500 with a Master’s in Yogic Science and Vedic Philosophy from Sanskrit University Haridwar; Dr. Sumit Sharma, who teaches anatomy, physiology, and yoga therapy; and Sandeep Solanki, who covers alignment, pranayama, mudras, and yoga philosophy. All instructors are based in India and bring a traditional perspective to the teachings.

The format is hybrid — students complete 200+ hours of self-paced pre-recorded video lessons, including 250+ video lessons, and join daily live Zoom classes with the Indian teaching team. Subtitles are available in ten languages and a digital manual is provided in English, Spanish, and French. The Siddhi Certified tier includes six months of course access and Zoom classes; the Professional tier extends access to lifetime course materials and 12 months of Zoom classes. A 14-day money-back guarantee applies.
