Siddhi Yoga: 50 Hour Pranayama Teacher Training Online

Course program

The 50-Hour Pranayama Teacher Training Online by Siddhi Yoga is a Yoga Alliance YACEP-accredited continuing education course in classical pranayama and breathwork. The self-paced program blends traditional Hatha pranayama techniques with the modern science of breath, preparing existing yoga teachers and serious practitioners to teach breath-centered practice with depth and clarity.

This training is designed for yoga teachers and dedicated practitioners who want to add specialized pranayama instruction to their teaching toolkit. The 50 YACEP hours are most useful to teachers already registered with Yoga Alliance who want to deepen their breath-based practice. No formal credential is required to enroll, but some prior yoga or breathwork experience is expected given the depth of the curriculum.

The curriculum begins with the foundational principles of pranayama and its place in the Hatha Yoga tradition, then moves through the evolution of pranayama and modern breathwork practices. Students study how to align body, mind, and breath, the scientific aspect of respiration, and the connection between breath and emotion as the basis for therapeutic application.

From there, the program covers preparation for pranayama, foundational breathwork, and the classical techniques: Nadi Sodhana, Kapala Bhati, Bhastrika, Ujjayi, Sheetali, and Bhramari. Kumbhaka (breath retention) is treated as a central practice, alongside secondary breathworks. The training closes with teaching applications, exploring how to design and lead pranayama sessions and how to apply breathwork for specific disorders and conditions, including anxiety, asthma, and insomnia. Course materials include 100+ video lessons, a digital training manual, and subtitles in ten languages including Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Russian, and Spanish.

The course is led by Satyam Tiwari, who holds a Gold Medal BSc and an MSc in Yoga Science from Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga under the Ministry of AYUSH (Government of India), and is a Ph.D. Research Scholar at IIT Mandi studying yoga and meditation. He carries Yoga Therapist and Yoga Teacher certifications from the Yoga Certificate Board (YCB) and trained in the Guru Shishya tradition of the Himalayan Yogins of the Saraswati order.

The course is fully self-paced and delivered online, with 100+ pre-recorded video lessons that students can complete on their own schedule. Materials include a digital manual in English and subtitles available in ten languages. Support is provided through weekly live classes accessible inside the program, an online student community, and personalized mentoring. A 14-day money-back guarantee is offered.
