The curriculum unfolds across the foundational 200-hour content and the advanced 300-hour content. The 200-hour portion covers diverse asana families including standing, seated, forward bends, back bends, spinal rotations, inversions, supine and prone positions, hand balancing, and hip openers. Students study body mechanics and alignment, sequencing, pranayama, fundamentals of anatomy, basics of yoga philosophy, meditation, Bhakti Yoga, and teaching methodology.
The 300-hour portion advances into stronger asana including arm balances, advanced inversions, and deeper twists, alongside restorative poses for healing. It deepens pranayama, anatomy, philosophy through Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras and the Bhagavad Gita, meditation, Bhakti Yoga kirtans, teaching methodology, and yoga for specific health conditions. Class management, ethics, and a practicum on sequencing and class observation round out the training.
