Sura Flow: Meditation Coach Training Course

Course program

LIBERATE is an 8-month certified meditation coach training from Sura Flow, designed to prepare students to guide meditation for individuals and groups. The program integrates three modalities — meditation, energy healing, and leadership coaching — into a coherent practice rooted in founder Sura’s Sura Flow approach, which emphasizes a softer, effortless way of teaching meditation drawn from her years studying in Asia.

No prior experience is required. LIBERATE is open to anyone drawn to guiding meditation — professionals looking to expand their leadership skills, health practitioners and healers, teachers, leaders in business and public service, high performers, and people working in high-stress roles. It also fits educators and administrators who want to bring meditation into their work. Many trainees come from around the world.

The 12-week intensive curriculum is organized into three parts. Weeks one through four cover the essentials of meditation: developing focus, creating awareness, and refining your personal practice. Weeks five through eight move into energy healing — healing through balance, the power of healing intention, cultivating true health, and guiding healing meditations. Weeks nine through twelve focus on leadership coaching, including creative coaching, the essentials of effective coaching, integrating meditation and coaching, and offering your gifts.

After the intensive, six bonus modules continue the training: growing your business, energy healing for deep well-being, the power of energy communication, mindfulness for families, unlocking your intuition, and energy management. Across the program you will practice four meditation techniques, four approaches to energy healing, the energetics of meditation, and the essentials of leadership coaching. Weekly homework, exercises, and handouts integrate the learning, and you will practice guiding meditation and coaching peers in breakout rooms.

The program is led by Sura, the founder and lead teacher of Sura Flow. Sura began meditating during her years working in finance on Wall Street, then left New York to study meditation in Asia. With 16 years of teaching and coaching experience, she developed Sura Flow’s three-step approach to meditation and has been featured in The Huffington Post and on the TEDx stage.

The format is hybrid. During the 12-week intensive, students meet live on Zoom every Thursday for a two-hour training webinar and a two-hour practice and Q&A session, alongside self-paced video lessons and weekly homework that totals about eight to ten hours per week. The training also includes a five-day in-person retreat in Camano Island near Seattle, monthly one-on-one mentorship sessions, and three years of access to all course materials.
