The Peaceful Warriors Yoga School: 15-Hour Yoga Philosophy & Lifestyle Module

Course program

The 15-Hour Yoga Philosophy & Lifestyle Module by The Peaceful Warriors Yoga School is a self-paced online course exploring the ethical and lifestyle foundations of traditional yoga. It introduces the Yamas and Niyamas, the first two limbs of the eight-fold path, alongside an introduction to Ayurveda and yogic principles for health and nutrition. The module is part of the school’s 200HR Online YTT Pathway.

This module is open to anyone curious about yoga philosophy and the yogic lifestyle. It is designed for students following the Peaceful Warriors 200HR Online YTT Pathway, yoga teachers and practitioners who want to deepen their subject knowledge, and existing teachers looking to integrate philosophy more clearly into their instruction. No prior credential is required to enroll.

The curriculum is delivered through three 2-hour masterclasses on the Yamas and Niyamas — yoga’s ethical restraints and personal observances — taught with a focus on how to apply Patanjali’s teachings in modern life. Students study yoga’s ethical practice as the foundation of all yogic thought, supported by a 41-page Yamas and Niyamas manual.

The module also includes a 2-hour Ayurveda masterclass introducing yoga’s sister science, and a 1-hour Health and Nutrition masterclass covering mindful consumption and nutritional principles for a yogic lifestyle. A 1-hour FAQ video and Q&A sessions round out the materials. Together the course gives students practical tools for integrating yoga philosophy and lifestyle into daily life.

The module is taught by three instructors. Sean Goldberg, a registered physiotherapist with a BSc in Physiotherapy, brings yoga anatomy and traditional Hatha Yoga experience from years of study and teaching in Thailand, India, and Bali. Lauren Prindiville is a 500-hour Yoga Alliance registered teacher and Ayurvedic practitioner who studied Ayurvedic Medicine in Kerala, India. Zoe Palmer Wright is a certified clinical nutritionist, herbalist, and naturopath.

The format is fully self-paced and 100% online. Students gain lifetime access to all course content immediately upon purchase, and progress through pre-recorded masterclasses on their own schedule. Module assignments are reviewed with one-to-one feedback from the instructor. Students also receive access to the Peaceful Warriors Virtual Community alongside the course materials.

Your online program is so so so beautifully done! I have learned so many things about yoga and everything linked to it, but mostly, I have learned a huge lot about myself. A wonderful little discovery of who I am and to what me I am going towards. Just wonderful. I am very grateful for this experience and if possible.. with Corona and everything, I will be planning to visit you as soon as possible, as I want to get to know the people that lead me trough all of this and provided wonderful guidance!

I'd like to take the time to extend my deepest gratitude to ALL of the members of The Peaceful Warrior team. I am feeling extremely blessed to have worked with such a dedicated, knowledgeable, and passionate group of people. Bente and Maria, I can tell how much heart and soul went into creating this teacher training and I have learned SO much from you both. You've created an incredibly holistic program and selected amazing teachers who each have their own unique and important set of skills to bring to the table.

You guys provided such a well rounded beautiful course. The idea of an online YTT scared me at the beginning but I must say that it has absolutely exceeded all expectations. You have delivered such high quality material, your choice of teachers has been immaculate and the general structure of the course was truly on point. Your knowledge and passion to share yoga are so inspiring and even though I didn't do the training with teaching in mind, I will for sure end up teaching one way or the other.

This was by far one of the best decisions I have ever made in my life. The Peaceful Warriors have shared their love, light, and knowledge with so many people in Bali and now they have offered it online for students?! AMAZING! I am proud to say that I am a Peaceful Warrior graduate and I cannot wait to go back to their training to attend the 300HR YTT. Every teacher that is part of the Peaceful Warrior family brings such phenomenal knowledge to the table.
