The Peaceful Warriors Yoga School: 200-Hour Online YTT Pathway

Course program

The 200-Hour Online YTT Pathway by The Peaceful Warriors Yoga School is a Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga School program built around eight individual online modules that together fulfill the 200-hour Yoga Alliance standard. Rooted in a Bali-based teaching tradition that fuses Hatha and Vinyasa, the pathway can be taken in any order and entirely at the student’s own pace.

This pathway is open to anyone interested in becoming a certified yoga teacher — no prior credential or formal yoga background is required. It suits aspiring teachers who want a flexible online format, existing practitioners deepening their understanding of Hatha and Vinyasa, and students who prefer a modular structure they can pace around work, travel and life.

The pathway is built from eight modules covering the full 200-hour curriculum. The 30-hour Yoga Anatomy and Physiology module looks deep into the physical composition of the human body. The 10-hour Yoga History module covers traditional and modern-day yoga history and philosophy. The 15-hour Yoga Philosophy and Lifestyle module dives into traditional yoga philosophy. The 25-hour Asana/Posture Alignment and Teaching Lab module teaches the school’s foundational alignment approach.

Other modules cover the subtle body, pranayama and meditation (20 hours), Hatha and Vinyasa practice and sequencing (80 hours), teaching different demographics and tailoring open-level classes (10 hours), and business for yogis — practical skills for building a yoga career (10 hours). Material includes masterclasses, podcasts, narrated lectures, audio and video tutorials, asana and teaching clinics, and guided yoga, pranayama and meditation practices. The eight modules can be completed in any order.

The pathway is taught by a senior team at the Peaceful Warriors Yoga School in Bali, including Maria, Bernd, Zoe and additional faculty (Bente, Sean, Lauren, Jeanne, Magda, Jessica, Karin, Avi). The school describes itself as a Registered Yoga School with Yoga Alliance and works as a collective of experienced instructors based out of its Bali studio.

The training is fully self-paced and 100% online. All eight modules consist of on-demand pre-recorded material — masterclasses, narrated lectures, audio and video tutorials, asana and teaching clinics, and guided yoga, pranayama and meditation practices. Students get instant access on enrollment and lifetime access to all content. Each module includes either a written or practical assignment, assessed by the Peaceful Warriors team with individual feedback. Enrollment is risk-free with a 7-day money-back guarantee.

Your online program is so so so beautifully done! I have learned so many things about yoga and everything linked to it, but mostly, I have learned a huge lot about myself. A wonderful little discovery of who I am and to what me I am going towards. Just wonderful. I am very grateful for this experience and if possible.. with Corona and everything, I will be planning to visit you as soon as possible, as I want to get to know the people that lead me trough all of this and provided wonderful guidance!

I'd like to take the time to extend my deepest gratitude to ALL of the members of The Peaceful Warrior team. I am feeling extremely blessed to have worked with such a dedicated, knowledgeable, and passionate group of people. Bente and Maria, I can tell how much heart and soul went into creating this teacher training and I have learned SO much from you both. You've created an incredibly holistic program and selected amazing teachers who each have their own unique and important set of skills to bring to the table.

You guys provided such a well rounded beautiful course. The idea of an online YTT scared me at the beginning but I must say that it has absolutely exceeded all expectations. You have delivered such high quality material, your choice of teachers has been immaculate and the general structure of the course was truly on point. Your knowledge and passion to share yoga are so inspiring and even though I didn't do the training with teaching in mind, I will for sure end up teaching one way or the other.

This was by far one of the best decisions I have ever made in my life. The Peaceful Warriors have shared their love, light, and knowledge with so many people in Bali and now they have offered it online for students?! AMAZING! I am proud to say that I am a Peaceful Warrior graduate and I cannot wait to go back to their training to attend the 300HR YTT. Every teacher that is part of the Peaceful Warrior family brings such phenomenal knowledge to the table.
