The Peaceful Warriors Yoga School: 25-Hour Meditation Immersion and Teacher Training

Course program

The 25-Hour Meditation Immersion and Teacher Training by The Peaceful Warriors Yoga School is an online program that introduces students to the broader landscape of meditation across mindfulness, somatic, and yogic traditions. The training is YACEP-accredited and prepares graduates to teach meditation, while remaining open to non-teachers who simply want to deepen their personal practice.

This course is open to yoga teachers seeking continuing education hours, as well as anyone with no prior credential who wants to deepen their meditation practice. The school states it is “not just for Yoga Teachers, but for anyone who wants to deepen their knowledge of meditation,” so it suits established practitioners, yoga teachers building a meditation specialization, and committed beginners ready for an immersive five-day study.

The curriculum is structured across an introduction, five day-themed modules, and a bonus section. Day 1 explores Mindfulness Meditation through practices such as Shikantaza, breathing awareness, and loving-kindness meditation. Day 2 turns to Somatic Meditation with internal body work and skull breathing. Day 3 covers Yogic Meditation, including the Aurobindo method, chakra meditation, Krishna’s instructions, and Yoga Nidra. Day 4 is a Practice and Silence Day with Earth breathing, mantra, walking meditation, and self-inquiry. Day 5 closes the program with a final practice and certification.

Alongside the meditation lectures, students study The History of Meditation, The Breath in Meditation, and Mindfulness, plus a dedicated track on learning how to teach meditation. Supporting Hatha yoga sessions and philosophical talks are interwoven through each day. A bonus section adds nine further guided practices in pranayama, breathing techniques, and specific meditations.

The lead teacher is Bernd Windhofer, who has been practicing yoga since 2001 and trained in Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga, Hatha Yoga, the yogic approach to therapy, and yoga philosophy. Bernd reviews student assignments personally and offers one-on-one feedback throughout the training, alongside live Q&A sessions for enrolled students.

The program is delivered fully online and on demand, so students can complete the 25 hours of content at their own pace. The five-day structure is a content map rather than a fixed calendar — there are no required live attendance days. Optional live Q&As with Bernd are available for enrolled students, and assessment happens through written assignments that receive personal one-on-one feedback from the lead teacher. A 7-day money-back guarantee is offered at enrollment.

Your online program is so so so beautifully done! I have learned so many things about yoga and everything linked to it, but mostly, I have learned a huge lot about myself. A wonderful little discovery of who I am and to what me I am going towards. Just wonderful. I am very grateful for this experience and if possible.. with Corona and everything, I will be planning to visit you as soon as possible, as I want to get to know the people that lead me trough all of this and provided wonderful guidance!

I'd like to take the time to extend my deepest gratitude to ALL of the members of The Peaceful Warrior team. I am feeling extremely blessed to have worked with such a dedicated, knowledgeable, and passionate group of people. Bente and Maria, I can tell how much heart and soul went into creating this teacher training and I have learned SO much from you both. You've created an incredibly holistic program and selected amazing teachers who each have their own unique and important set of skills to bring to the table.

You guys provided such a well rounded beautiful course. The idea of an online YTT scared me at the beginning but I must say that it has absolutely exceeded all expectations. You have delivered such high quality material, your choice of teachers has been immaculate and the general structure of the course was truly on point. Your knowledge and passion to share yoga are so inspiring and even though I didn't do the training with teaching in mind, I will for sure end up teaching one way or the other.

This was by far one of the best decisions I have ever made in my life. The Peaceful Warriors have shared their love, light, and knowledge with so many people in Bali and now they have offered it online for students?! AMAZING! I am proud to say that I am a Peaceful Warrior graduate and I cannot wait to go back to their training to attend the 300HR YTT. Every teacher that is part of the Peaceful Warrior family brings such phenomenal knowledge to the table.
