The Peaceful Warriors Yoga School: Pranayama Breathwork and Subtle Body Online

Course program

Pranayama Breathwork and Subtle Body Online is a 20-hour course module from The Peaceful Warriors Yoga School that explores the deeper dimensions of yoga practice — breathwork, the subtle body, the chakra system, and meditation.

This course is for yoga students who want to deepen their understanding of the body beyond physical postures, specifically those interested in exploring breathwork, the subtle body, the chakra system, and meditation. It is suitable for those seeking continuing education or working toward a 200-hour yoga teacher training certification.

The curriculum is built around several core components. There are five breathwork and pranayama tutorials that teach specific techniques and their applications. A two-hour audio masterclass covers prana, the koshas (energy layers), vayus (energy winds), and nadis (energy channels) — foundational concepts for understanding the subtle body.

The chakra system receives dedicated attention through a two-hour masterclass that maps the seven primary energy centers and their physical, emotional, and psychological associations. Students also complete a personal chakra test with the option of a one-hour one-to-one consultation with a senior teacher.

Meditation is covered through six guided practices, including Yoga Nidra — a deep relaxation technique sometimes called yogic sleep. Two sound healing sessions provide experience with vibrational practices as a complement to breathwork and meditation.

Additional masterclasses address the philosophy of pain and mindfulness (two hours) and the endocrine system (one hour), connecting the subtle body teachings to physical anatomy and contemporary understanding of how the body processes stress and sensation.

The course is taught by four instructors. Bente Andersen brings a background in Hatha Vinyasa yoga, tantric philosophy, psychology, and international business. Bernd Windhofer has practiced yoga since 2001 and specializes in asana, pranayama, meditation, and therapeutic approaches. Sean Goldberg is a registered physiotherapist with a BSc in Physiotherapy who focuses on yoga anatomy and chronic pain management. Jessica Lee contributes expertise in prenatal, postnatal, and kids yoga.

The course is delivered entirely online in a self-paced format with lifetime access to all materials. Students receive one-to-one feedback from senior lead teachers throughout the program. There is also access to The Peaceful Warriors Virtual Community for peer connection and support.

Your online program is so so so beautifully done! I have learned so many things about yoga and everything linked to it, but mostly, I have learned a huge lot about myself. A wonderful little discovery of who I am and to what me I am going towards. Just wonderful. I am very grateful for this experience and if possible.. with Corona and everything, I will be planning to visit you as soon as possible, as I want to get to know the people that lead me trough all of this and provided wonderful guidance!

I'd like to take the time to extend my deepest gratitude to ALL of the members of The Peaceful Warrior team. I am feeling extremely blessed to have worked with such a dedicated, knowledgeable, and passionate group of people. Bente and Maria, I can tell how much heart and soul went into creating this teacher training and I have learned SO much from you both. You've created an incredibly holistic program and selected amazing teachers who each have their own unique and important set of skills to bring to the table.

You guys provided such a well rounded beautiful course. The idea of an online YTT scared me at the beginning but I must say that it has absolutely exceeded all expectations. You have delivered such high quality material, your choice of teachers has been immaculate and the general structure of the course was truly on point. Your knowledge and passion to share yoga are so inspiring and even though I didn't do the training with teaching in mind, I will for sure end up teaching one way or the other.

This was by far one of the best decisions I have ever made in my life. The Peaceful Warriors have shared their love, light, and knowledge with so many people in Bali and now they have offered it online for students?! AMAZING! I am proud to say that I am a Peaceful Warrior graduate and I cannot wait to go back to their training to attend the 300HR YTT. Every teacher that is part of the Peaceful Warrior family brings such phenomenal knowledge to the table.
