This has been a really transformational course for me. I have learnt so much about myself in a short space of time and can't wait to continue the journey, on a personal, as well as from a career perspective.
Launch Your First Online Course by The Whole Health Project is a self-paced program for wellness practitioners who want to turn their offering into a successful online course. Co-founders Lucy Foster-Perkins and Rachel Fearnley walk students through the full creation, launch, and sales process they used to build five of their own online programs.
This course is designed for coaches, healers, mentors, and teachers who already have paying clients and are ready to package their work into an online course. No prior experience with course creation is required, but students should already have a website, a mailing list, and a clear sense of the transformation they help clients with.
The curriculum is split across six modules. Module 1, Your Unique Online Course, helps clarify the transformation the program will deliver and how to differentiate it. Module 2, Pre-sell and Lead Generation, covers pre-selling so students can earn before the course is fully built. Module 3, Messaging and Audience Building, focuses on writing sales pages and social copy and growing an active online community. Module 4, Course Content and Delivery, walks through recording equipment, platform choices, course layout, and the trade-offs between evergreen and launch-based delivery. Module 5, Post-course Consideration, covers upselling, VIP offers, affiliate marketing, building a support team, and engaging guest speakers. A bonus Module 6 introduces how to position the course as a certified teacher training.
The course is led by Lucy Foster-Perkins and Rachel Fearnley, co-founders of The Whole Health Project and its Bali-based retreat company The Pineapple House. They launched their first online program, a 25-hour breath coach training, in 2020 and have since created and run five online courses through their school.
The format is self-paced and pre-recorded. Students work through the six modules at their own pace, with a recommended completion time of around eight weeks. There are no fixed start dates or required live sessions in the ongoing program. The original launch included three time-limited group Q&A calls as a sign-up bonus.
There is no certificate; the course is built around a working launch. Students come away able to validate and pre-sell a course idea, write a sales page, choose recording equipment and a course platform, and plan their launch, with a bonus module on turning their work into a certified teacher training.
