Vinyasa Yogashala: 200 Hour Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training

Course program

The 200 Hour Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training by Vinyasa Yogashala is a Yoga Alliance-certified program rooted in traditional Kundalini Yoga. Delivered online with live weekend Zoom classes, it prepares students to register as RYT-200 with Yoga Alliance while grounding them in the energetic and philosophical foundations of yoga.

This training is for anyone interested in deepening their personal yoga practice or preparing to teach yoga professionally, especially those drawn to Kundalini practice, chakra work, meditation, and the classical yoga tradition. No prior credentials are required.

The curriculum is organised across sixteen modules. Students work through mantra, Hatha Yoga, pranayama, Kundalini tantra physiology, Kundalini meditation practices, alignment, and meditation technique. Asana study extends into Vinyasa Yoga, the Ashtanga Vinyasa primary series (Yog Chikitsa), and Yin Yoga sequences.

Philosophy and theory modules cover yoga philosophy, respiratory system anatomy, and spinal anatomy. The training closes with teaching methodology, where students learn how to structure and lead classes. Books and a full course manual are included in the training materials.

Across the program, students build familiarity with multiple yoga styles — Kundalini, Hatha, Vinyasa, Ashtanga, and Yin — alongside the energetic framework of chakras and subtle body physiology that anchors Kundalini practice.

The program is led by Ashish Rawat, founder of Vinyasa Yogashala, who holds an M.S. in Yogic Science from Sanskrit University and trained at the International School of Yoga at Ved Niketan Dham in Rishikesh. Yogi Rajeev teaches asana, meditation, and pranayama, bringing a 500-hour TTC certificate and a degree in Yogic Science and Yoga Naturopathy from Uttarakhand University.

The format is hybrid. Students progress through pre-recorded lessons at their own pace and attend live classes via Zoom on weekends, with timings set around student availability. The program can be completed within six months to one year, and students receive one year of access to all course materials and the included yoga manual.
