Vinyasa Yogashala: 200 Hour Online Yoga Teacher Training Course

Course program

The 200 Hour Online Yoga Teacher Training Course by Vinyasa Yogashala is a Yoga Alliance-accredited program that prepares students to teach yoga with confidence and register as RYT-200. The curriculum spans traditional Hatha, Vinyasa, Ashtanga, and Yin yoga, alongside the philosophical and anatomical foundations of the practice.

This training is for students at any level—no prior credentials are required. It is designed for dedicated practitioners who want to deepen their own practice and for those preparing to teach yoga professionally.

The curriculum is organized into seventeen modules covering the breadth of classical yoga. Students work through Hatha Yoga, alignment principles, pranayama, meditation, Vinyasa Yoga, and the Ashtanga Vinyasa Primary Series. Additional modules focus on Yin Yoga, Kundalini Tantra physiology, and mantra practice.

Yoga philosophy runs throughout the program, with study of classical texts and the Patanjali Yoga Sutras. Students also explore yoga anatomy across two dedicated modules, Indian Ayurveda for lifestyle and diet, and teaching methodology for leading classes. Course materials include a full training manual and five reference texts covering meditation methods, asana, pranayama, mudra, bandha, and prana.

The program is led by founder Ashish Rawat, who holds an M.S. in Yogic Science from Sanskrit University. He is joined by Tanushree Rawat on meditation, Acharya Vinay on philosophy and Yoga Nidra, Shivam Rawat on the Patanjali Yoga Sutras, Yogi Aman on Yin and Ashtanga yoga, and Sushant Pandey on Kundalini Kriya. Several teachers hold postgraduate degrees in yoga or yogic science from traditional Indian institutions.

The format is hybrid. Students progress through pre-recorded video lessons at their own pace, supplemented by live weekend classes delivered via Zoom. Enrollment includes one year of access to all course materials and reference books, with flexibility to complete the program in six months to a year.
