Vinyasa Yogashala: 300-Hour Yoga Teacher Training

Course program

The 300-Hour Yoga Teacher Training by Vinyasa Yogashala is a Yoga Alliance accredited continuing education program that builds on a 200-hour foundation. The training spans Hatha, Ashtanga, Vinyasa, and Yin yoga, alongside pranayama, meditation, and Indian yoga philosophy, preparing experienced students to teach with broader range and depth.

This training is designed for yoga students looking to deepen their practice and for those preparing to teach yoga as a professional yoga instructor. The program suits practitioners who already hold a 200-hour foundation and want to broaden their range across Hatha, Vinyasa, Ashtanga, and Yin styles, or who want to study pranayama, philosophy, and meditation in greater depth.

The curriculum is organized across fifteen modules. Students study advanced asana through four lineages — Hatha Yoga, Ashtanga Vinyasa, Vinyasa Yoga, and Yin Yoga — along with alignment principles for each style. Pranayama, bandhas, and Yog Nidra meditation are covered as core energetic and contemplative practices, with mantra chanting introduced as part of the traditional foundation.

The program also addresses Kundalini Tantra physiology, examining the energetic body alongside Western yoga anatomy. Yoga philosophy draws on Indian philosophical traditions, while a dedicated teaching methodology module prepares students to lead classes across the styles taught. Books and a course manual are provided as part of the program.

The program is led by Ashish Rawat, the founder, who holds a Master of Science in Yogic Science from Sanskrit University in Uttarakhand and trained at the International School of Yoga and Ved Niketan Dham in Rishikesh. Yoga philosophy is taught by Shivam Rawat, who holds an MA in Yoga from MS University Vadodara, with additional study in Buddhist philosophy, Pali, and Vedanta from Sivananda Ashram and Mumbai University.

The format is hybrid. Pre-recorded course materials can be completed at the student’s own pace within six months to one year, and live sessions are held via Zoom every weekend, with timings arranged around student availability. Students receive one year of access to all course materials, plus the printed books and course manual that accompany the program.
