The Vinyasa Flow and Yin Yoga Course from Vinyasa Yogashala pairs two contrasting styles of practice in one online course. A dynamic, breath-linked Vinyasa section builds strength and balance, and a slower Yin Yoga Fusion section works with long, passive holds, so students can balance active and restful practice.
The course is organised in two sections. Power of Vinyasa opens with a beginners flow and Surya Namaskara A and B, then moves through a warrior sequence, core strengthening, backbends and a dancer sequence. It builds toward forearm balancing and headstand balancing, an intermediate flow and Hanuman Asana, the full splits.
Yin Yoga Fusion begins with an introduction to Yin yoga and a beginner sequence, then offers a gentle spine sequence, a sequence for releasing tension in the hips, a prenatal Yin sequence and a Yin sequence for backbends. It closes with a Yin practice for the liver and gall bladder and a lateral flexion movement sequence.
Vinyasa Yogashala’s online courses come from the school’s teaching team, founded by Ashish Rawat, who holds a Master of Science in Yogic Science. The team includes Yogi Aman, the school’s Yin and Ashtanga yoga teacher; Tanushree Rawat, who teaches asana, pranayama, meditation and mantra; and Acharya Vinay, who teaches philosophy and Yoga Nidra.
The course is hosted on Vinyasa Yogashala’s online course platform as two sections of video lessons, ten on Vinyasa flow and eight on Yin yoga, with two lessons open as free previews. It is bought with a one-time payment.
