Yoga Bliss: Yin Yoga Teacher Training

Course program

The 30-Hour Online Yin Yoga Teacher Training by Yoga Bliss Lembongan is a Yoga Alliance accredited continuing education program that prepares yoga
teachers to confidently guide students of all levels and abilities through a complete Yin Yoga class. The training combines the philosophy and
history of Yin with Eastern anatomy, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and a full library of postures, equipping teachers to either build a dedicated
Yin practice or fold restorative, slow-paced sequencing into their existing classes.

This training is built for yoga teachers who want to expand their offerings with safe, intelligently sequenced Yin Yoga classes, as well as
experienced instructors seeking to deepen their understanding of the practice. It also welcomes dedicated Yin enthusiasts and newer teachers looking
for guidance. No prior certification is required to enrol, though a 200-hour certification is needed to teach yoga professionally; the curriculum
assumes a general familiarity with yoga practice.

The curriculum is organized around several learning areas. The Foundations section covers the history and principles of Yin Yoga, the important
distinction between Yin and Restorative yoga, the theory of Yin & Yang balance, and the fundamentals of Eastern anatomy. Traditional Chinese
Medicine explores meridian theory, the Taoist five elements, and how the body responds physiologically to a Yin practice. Postures and Sequencing
focuses on more than 25 Yin Yoga poses with detailed adaptations, recommended hold durations, the use of studio props and accessible home-practice
alternatives, when and how adjustments are appropriate, and multiple options for building varied, purposeful classes. Finally, Pranayama and
Meditation examines the breath and meditative techniques that support and deepen a Yin session and how to integrate these principles into daily
life. Course materials include downloadable PDFs, audio lessons, and workbooks throughout the program.

The training is led by senior teacher Lisa Nelson, an E-RYT 500 and YACEP-credentialed teacher who brings extensive experience in Yin and slow-flow
yoga to the program.

The program is fully self-paced and delivered online with lifetime access to all materials, including video lessons, downloadable PDFs, audio
lessons, and printable workbooks. Because the course is entirely on-demand, the format qualifies as self-paced. Enrolment is priced at $297.

On completion, graduates earn Yoga Alliance continuing education hours (YACEP) and are equipped to teach a full Yin Yoga class with confidence —
whether leading dedicated Yin classes or weaving Yin principles and sequencing into their existing offerings.
