Yoga Farm Ithaca: Embodied Archetype Yoga Teacher Training

Course program

The Embodied Archetype Coaching Certification by Yoga Farm Ithaca is a 12-month, 200-hour program that trains coaches in emergence-based facilitation. The methodology centers on listening to what wants to arise in a client rather than fixing problems, integrating Kundalini breathwork with two archetypal maps, the Enneagram and Human Design, to support embodied transformation.

No prior coaching certification is required. The training is designed for aspiring and practicing coaches who want a grounded, ethical framework beyond surface-level mindset work, as well as breathwork facilitators, yoga teachers, somatic practitioners, therapists, healers, Enneagram or Human Design practitioners, and facilitators seeking to move from information-sharing into skilled, client-centered work rooted in embodiment, intuition, and service.

The curriculum spans six modules across twelve months. Module 1 establishes foundations of emergence coaching and embodied presence, covering Kundalini breathwork basics, breath of fire, long deep breathing, Sat Kriya, nervous system regulation, and ethical containment. Module 2 maps personality patterns through the Enneagram, including the nine types, wings, subtypes, levels of integration, and shadow work. Module 3 develops advanced Kundalini breathwork facilitation for emotional release, trauma sensitivity, and group and 1:1 sessions, anchored by a 40-day personal breathwork challenge.

Module 4 introduces Human Design as a blueprint for energy types, strategy, authority, profiles, centers, and the deconditioning process. Module 5 integrates Enneagram, Human Design, and breathwork into a unified coaching practice, with supervised practicum sessions, triads, and case studies. Module 6 is fully self-paced and covers certification requirements, practicum assessments, a capstone Personal Emergence Project, and business foundations including branding, pricing, and program creation.

The program is taught by a faculty of Yoga Farm Ithaca educators. Jeannie O’Neill, the lead educator, holds a master’s in education with a focus on contemplative pedagogy and is an E-RYT-500 Vinyasa and Kundalini teacher, mindfulness instructor, Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider, and Ayurvedic health practitioner. Co-faculty include Elizabeth Bailey, a PA-C with RYT-200 Kundalini certification; Tasha Edwards, a movement-focused facilitator; Michele France Cooper, an RYT-500 and Certified Lifebook Leader trained in Russ Hudson’s Enneagram work; and Crystal Star Ellis, a Human Design coach and 500-hour yoga teacher.

The format is hybrid: live online sessions delivered over six 6-week modules, with two live classes per week led by the faculty, plus weekly educator office hours with replays. Recordings, transcripts, and downloadable materials are available for one year, and Module 6 is fully self-paced and can be accessed any time once the other modules are complete. The methodology includes daily personal sadhana, partner and triad sessions, peer coaching, supervised practicum labs, and the option to extend completion across 12 to 18 months.

Yoga Farm Ithaca is one of those rare places that feels deeply nourishing the moment you arrive and somehow continues to work on you long after you leave. In person, the land itself feels held and intentional. There is a sense of care woven into everything from the physical space to the pacing of the days to the people who gather there. The classes and offerings are thoughtful, embodied, and accessible without ever feeling watered down. Whether you are brand new to a practice or deeply experienced, you feel welcomed exactly as you are.
