Yoga Farm Ithaca: Kundalini Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training – 100 HR Online

Course program

The Kundalini Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training by Yoga Farm Ithaca is a 100-hour online certification program built around the four trimesters of pregnancy and postpartum. It brings together Kundalini kriyas, breathwork, meditation, Ayurveda, and trauma-informed teaching in a dogma-free, inclusive framework.

The training is open to anyone drawn to prenatal work — no prior yoga certification, pregnancy experience, or pregnant practice partners are required. It suits existing yoga teachers adding a specialization, midwives, doulas, birth educators, and health practitioners, as well as pregnant people who want a deeper relationship with their own birthing process.

The curriculum is organized into five modules that map the journey from conception through postpartum teaching. Module One introduces the first trimester through Ayurveda of pregnancy, sound healing, contraindications, and dedicated kriyas. Module Two covers the second trimester with Traditional Chinese Medicine and acupressure, mantras, mudras, and trimester-specific kriyas. Module Three focuses on the third trimester and birth, including hip mobility, the changing body, and practice teaching.

Module Four turns to the fourth trimester and postnatal work: postpartum hormones, advocacy, diversity and inclusion, birth planning, and teaching labs. Module Five rounds out the certification with adaptations for non-prenatal classes, teaching online, and navigating birth trauma. Across the program, students work with inclusive language, trauma-aware cueing, nervous-system regulation, and breath, sound, and visualization tools for labor and birth.

The training is led by Jeannie O’Neill, Executive Director of Yoga Farm Ithaca, alongside a team of ten educators. Jeannie trained in Kundalini Yoga through the Kundalini Research Institute and studied trauma-informed teaching with Bessel van der Kolk. Yoga Farm Ithaca is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and a Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga School.

The program is fully self-paced and delivered online, with video, audio, and text transcripts for every lesson. Students can complete the training in as little as six weeks or take up to twelve months, with indefinite access to the materials. Weekly live office hours, a one-year community group, and personalized teacher support are included alongside the pre-recorded curriculum.

Yoga Farm Ithaca is one of those rare places that feels deeply nourishing the moment you arrive and somehow continues to work on you long after you leave. In person, the land itself feels held and intentional. There is a sense of care woven into everything from the physical space to the pacing of the days to the people who gather there. The classes and offerings are thoughtful, embodied, and accessible without ever feeling watered down. Whether you are brand new to a practice or deeply experienced, you feel welcomed exactly as you are.
