Yoga Farm Ithaca: Kundalini Warrior Teacher Training

Course program

The Kundalini Warrior Teacher Training by Yoga Farm Ithaca is a 200-hour Yoga Alliance accredited Kundalini yoga teacher training delivered fully online. Led live by a team of educators at a nonprofit 501(c)(3) school, the program teaches Kundalini yoga as a practice of learning and exploration rather than a belief system, with an emphasis on trauma-informed teaching, accessibility, and nervous system awareness.

This training is open to anyone — no prior credentials or teaching experience are required to enroll. Yoga Farm Ithaca welcomes experienced yoga teachers looking to add a Kundalini specialization, aspiring teachers seeking to share the practice, wellness enthusiasts curious about energy work, spiritual seekers exploring Kundalini energy, and healing professionals who want to integrate Kundalini techniques into their work.

The curriculum is organized into six modules. Module One covers grounding and rooting, introducing Kundalini yoga, the Four Paths and Eight Limbs, yogic philosophy basics, Kundalini practice structure, and Sadhana. Module Two builds essential foundations through ethics, Western and subtle anatomy, mantra, voice work, chakras, and Ayurvedic pillars. Module Three explores layers of healing through meditation, yoga, and pranayama, the role of the yoga teacher, yoga and social justice, the ten bodies anatomy, and sound healing.

Module Four shifts to the endocrine system, mantric science, the significance of time, healing and protecting the spine, and trauma-informed language. Module Five examines respiratory and immune anatomy, Kriya yoga, the history of Kundalini, decolonizing yoga, the nervous system, self regulation, and finding your teaching voice. Module Six closes with healing childhood wounds, centering your practice, Dinacharya, accessibility, Kundalini in a chair, teaching online, presenting Kundalini to your community, business skills, and certification preparation. Students learn Kriya yoga, Laya yoga, and Naad yoga from their early roots through more recent derivations.

The training is led by a team of ten educators at Yoga Farm Ithaca, including Executive Director Jeannie O’Neill, who trained in Kundalini Yoga through the Kundalini Research Institute and studied trauma-informed teaching with Bessel van der Kolk. The school’s lead educators developed the modern, trauma-informed approach used throughout the program. Yoga Farm Ithaca is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and a Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga School.

The format is hybrid. Students attend three live interactive online classes per week over twelve weeks, with weekly office hours for Q&A with the lead educators. Every live session is recorded, so anyone who can’t make a class can watch the replay the same day. Alongside the live sessions, students get indefinite access to all training materials, class replays, and an on-demand library of yoga, meditation, and qigong classes. Discussions and student support happen in a private online classroom.

Yoga Farm Ithaca is one of those rare places that feels deeply nourishing the moment you arrive and somehow continues to work on you long after you leave. In person, the land itself feels held and intentional. There is a sense of care woven into everything from the physical space to the pacing of the days to the people who gather there. The classes and offerings are thoughtful, embodied, and accessible without ever feeling watered down. Whether you are brand new to a practice or deeply experienced, you feel welcomed exactly as you are.
