The curriculum is organized into ten modules. Early modules cover the foundations of mindfulness — definitions, breath awareness, the biology and psychology of stress, and a body scan meditation. Later modules explore the neuroscience of mindfulness and neuroplasticity, loving-kindness practice, and the physical, psychological, and social benefits of a mindful life.
The program then moves into application and teaching. Students practice mindful living through communication and eating exercises, develop a mindful movement practice with guided sessions, and study posture and facilitation techniques for guiding meditation. A dedicated module of guided mindfulness meditation includes eleven recorded practices — breath awareness, body scans, loving-kindness, walking meditation, and more — that students can use for personal practice or as reference recordings when teaching.
The final module focuses on teaching mindfulness: guidelines for instructors, how to integrate mindfulness into existing yoga or wellness sessions, how to design mindfulness programs, and how to lead a class with presence and clarity. A home practice section with logging tools supports students in building a consistent personal practice alongside the coursework.
