YogaRenew: 300-Hour Online Yoga Teacher Training

Course program

The 300-Hour Online Yoga Teacher Training by YogaRenew is an advanced, self-paced certification that deepens an existing 200-hour foundation. The program covers the physical practice, history, philosophy, business, and anatomy of yoga, and qualifies graduates to register with Yoga Alliance as RYT-500 when combined with a prior RYT-200 credential.

This training is for students and teachers who have already completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training, including credentials earned with other schools. It suits eager practitioners looking to deepen their personal practice, working teachers refining their voice and methodology, and graduates planning to expand their professional credentials toward RYT-500.

The curriculum spans advanced asana study, including teaching cues, modifications, and injury considerations for advanced poses. Students explore yoga history and the journey of the practice west, and study the Bhagavad Gita, the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, and the eight limbs of yoga. The program covers the stylistic and structural differences between Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin, Hot, and Kundalini.

Working with injuries is a dedicated focus, with sessions on hips, knees, back, shoulders, wrists, and neck, plus tension and compression assessment. Additional modules cover chair yoga, Ayurveda and the three doshas, Yoga Nidra teaching and practice, advanced pranayama, advanced alignment and sequencing, advanced class themes, meditation techniques (kindness, walking, gazing, mindfulness), yoga ethics, and yoga for special groups including prenatal, children, and seniors. Personal development for teachers — goal setting, creative visualization, and mindset — rounds out the program.

The course is 100% online and self-paced with no deadline, no renewal fees, and lifetime access to all videos, materials, and class sequences. Most students complete it in three to six months. Live Zoom sessions and supportive Facebook groups are available alongside the pre-recorded curriculum. The program includes worksheets, reading assignments (texts purchased separately), and a Seva teaching assignment in the student’s own community.
