Briana Aguilar-Austin

Yoga for Athletes expert

Briana Aguilar-Austin is an RYT-200 yoga instructor, adventure travel leader, health coach, and team-building facilitator. She is a long-distance runner who has completed 9 marathons and over 20 half marathons, alongside lifting weights, boxing, hiking, and spin. Briana has summited Kilimanjaro three times, hiked to Everest Base Camp three times, and crossed the Salkantay Pass twice.

Her additional trainings include anatomy, yoga for runners, prenatal yoga, and Reiki. After working through significant injuries — including torn hamstrings and a torn labrum — Briana developed an in-depth understanding of how the body works and how to practice functional, healthy movement. That experience now shapes how she teaches yoga to athletes, with a focus on stability, alignment, and injury prevention.
