Christopher Renstrom is an American writer and astrologer who has practiced professionally since 1985. He trained under a principal disciple of the late Hungarian astrologer Zoltan Mason in New York City before establishing his own practice.
He is the author of Ruling Planets: Your Astrological Guide to Life’s Ups and Downs (HarperCollins, 2002) and Rise & Shine: An Astrological Guide to How You Show Up in the World (2022). He writes the daily horoscope column for the San Francisco Chronicle and SFGate.com.
At Astrology University he co-teaches The History of Astrology with Demetra George, focusing on the unique history of pop astrology and sun-sign astrology in the US and UK in the 19th and 20th centuries. He also runs Ruling Planet workshops around the country.
