Michael holds a Ph.D. in neuroscience and complex systems. His research has focused on networks of the human brain involved in perception, memory, and attention, with an emphasis on the framework of embodied cognition. He is passionate about the subject of peak performance, physical and cognitive enhancement, and the intersection of neuroscience and fitness, and has studied and investigated flow science for many years. At White Tiger Qigong, he contributes the neuroscience perspective to the school’s curriculum, helping connect modern brain science to the school’s qigong training methodology.
