Jack Boken — known as Happy Jack — is the Founder and CEO of Happy Jack Yoga University, a Yoga Alliance accredited educational institute offering online yoga teacher certifications, global retreats, and spiritual mentorship. He founded the school in 2010 after leaving a ten-year engineering career at John Deere to pursue a deeper purpose.
Jack travelled to India to study the traditions of yoga and meditation and lived in multiple religious communities, including Buddhist, Sikh, Christian, Muslim, Hatha Yogi, and Hare Krishna. He is a scholar of Sanskrit, Yoga Philosophy, and Bhakti at Harvard Divinity School, where he engages sacred yogic texts and lives in a traditional ashram.
He holds a Master of Divinity from Harvard Divinity School, an MBA, and a Bachelor of Engineering Science. Jack is E-RYT 500 Yoga Alliance Certified, a Certified High Performance Coach, and a certified Tony Robbins Trainer — regularly invited to deliver yoga education and personal-development mentorship to Tony Robbins participants worldwide.
