Jillian Pransky is a certified yoga therapist and mindfulness teacher, certified as a Yoga Therapist through the International Association of Yoga Therapy. She is the author of Deep Listening: A Healing Practice to Calm Your Body, Clear Your Mind and Open Your Heart, and a student of Pema Chödrön’s work since 1998. She leads retreats, teacher trainings, and restorative workshops globally, both in person and via Zoom. Jillian serves as director of Restorative Therapeutic Yoga teacher training at YogaWorks and created Yoga Journal’s four-week Restorative Yoga 101 course. She is a featured yoga expert for Prevention Magazine and a contributor to Mindful.org. Her teaching integrates mindfulness, compassion, and ease into yoga, working simultaneously with body, mind, and spirit while attuning to nature and the environment.
