Jivana Heyman is the founder of Accessible Yoga, an international organization dedicated to making yoga available to everyone regardless of ability, body type, or background. With over 30 years of teaching experience, Heyman holds C-IAYT and E-RYT-500 certifications. He is the author of three books on accessible yoga, including Yoga Revolution and Accessible Yoga, which have helped shape the conversation around inclusion in the yoga world. His work centers on dismantling ableism in yoga spaces and advocating for social justice within the yoga community. Heyman leads the Accessible Yoga Training Online program and serves as an advocate for inclusive, adaptive teaching practices that welcome students of all abilities into the practice.
