Kelly Surtees is a counselling astrologer, writer, and teacher who splits her time between Sydney, Australia and Toronto, Canada. She has been a professional astrologer since 2002, with more than 15 years in private practice working with clients around the world.
Kelly teaches with a traditional focus, drawing on Hellenistic and traditional astrology to ground ancient philosophy into modern life. Her approach is described by students as warm, accessible, and clear — making complex traditional techniques approachable for newer students while offering depth for experienced practitioners.
She holds the Practitioner’s Diploma in Astrology (Prac. Dip.) from the Federation of Australian Astrologers (FAA). Kelly is a senior instructor on the teaching faculty at Astrology University, has lectured at major conferences including NORWAC, UAC, FAA, SOTA and ISAR, and writes for and edits the annual WellBeing Astrology Guide. She also co-hosts a monthly astrology podcast.
